Taiyo Oishi
FOUNDER/CO-DIRECTOR
Taiyo is a senior at Inglemoor High School. He has performed as soloist with orchestras such as the Fort Worth Symphony, Coeur d’Alene Symphony, and Central Texas Philharmonic. He’s attending the Yellow Barn YAP and Aspen Music Festival this summer.

Blake Nelson
CO-DIRECTOR
Blake is a high school junior from Gig Harbor. He studies with Dr. Oksana Ejokina of Pacific Lutheran University and has earned accolades from competitions like the Russian Chamber Music Festival of Seattle. Blake is also an accomplished violinist.

Vivian Chang
CO-DIRECTOR/PUBLIC RELATIONS
Vivian is a junior at Bellevue High School, studying with Donna Bender. She was most recently selected for the prestigious Texas State International Piano Festival. Vivian is a multi-laureate of the WSMTA Outstanding Artists Competition.

Calvin Chang
SECRETARY
Calvin is a junior at Inglemoor High School. He’s participated in various festivals such as the Bowdoin International Festival, Meadowmount Festival, and the Green Mountain Chamber Music Festival. He was most recently a laureate in the WA MTNA competition.

Avery Pun
OUTREACH DIRECTOR
Avery Pun has studied piano for eleven years and cello for eight. She currently studies piano with Mark Salman and has performed in a piano trio through the Seattle Chamber Music Academy. As a soloist, she has earned gold medals in the Seattle Classical Viennese Festival, the Russian Chamber Music Foundation Competition, and the Virtuoso Festival. In addition to performing, Avery is an aspiring film composer. She has written orchestral and chamber works through the Seattle Symphony’s Merriman-Ross Family Young Composers Workshop and Interlochen’s Film Scoring Intensive.

Janie Jang
CO-PUBLIC RELATIONS DIRECTOR
Janie Jang is a dedicated student at Glacier Peak High School in Snohomish with a strong passion for music. She actively participates in school and community music programs, serving as Vice President of the Strings Club and performing as a choir accompanist at events like graduation. Beyond school, she contributes her talents to her church’s Christmas and Easter Chamber groups. Janie is also involved in various leadership roles and organizations, showing a commitment to both personal growth and community engagement through music.
